PENCIL DRAWINGS by Carla Tyacke

Carla takes pride in her art, family and cattle ranch and depicts her way of life into the pencil drawings she creates. Being proud of her country life and love of animals, she portrays what she has grown to know and love. Any one who has experienced or enjoyed time in a rural setting will appreciated her attention to detail and enjoy the nostalgic memories of a simpler and better way of life. The cow print brings back memories of chore time and the satisfaction of having chores done and pride in having a good looking, contented herd of cattle - as every cattleman knows!
Carla's flock of chickens sets the scene for one of the most productive members in the barnyard family of animals. The chicken print brings back memories of when it was a daily chore to go out and gather the eggs. These are happy chickens, not locked in a cage and force fed! The rooster looks so proud with his harem of hens, can't you just imagine him crowing early Sunday morning! This chicken drawing also shows a simpler and much healthier life style in the now too often disappearing rural landscape of our country life.
The Limited Edition Lithograph Prints from the original pencil drawings are printed on the highest quality rag stock and the print numbers are kept low to therefore increase the collectible value and rarity of the piece. It is essential to the artist that the print image is as equal in quality to the original pencil drawing as imaginably possible. Each print is numbered by the artist herself and signed.
Several of these pieces are the same size for you to create a framed grouping on your favorite western decor wall.
