Carla will do commissioned portraits from photographs in either pencil drawings or acrylic paintings. Horse and pet portraits as pencil drawings or acrylic paintings are very popular as gifts or keep sakes of that special pet. If interested please contact Carla by email to discuss the portrait and the photographs you have chosen, the quality of the photographs you have reflect on the detail Carla can see and therefore detail in the completed portrait. Basically the better the photo the more realistic the completed portait will be. The charge will be $2.50 per square inch and 50% deposit is required before starting the portrait the other 50% due upon completion. For example an 8x10 portrait is $200.00, a 10x12 is $300.00, a 16x20 is $800.00 (these prices do not include framing). If you have an idea and know what you would like to spend, contact Carla and she will complete the portrait within that price range.
