The Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and Paterson wooden grain elevators have all but disappeared from our prairie landscape. This picture captures how the countryside appeared in times gone by.
This prairie town called Mortlach, is located in southern Saskatchewan on the Trans Canada Highway just west of Moose Jaw.
The watercolor remark can be applied to give the elevators their distinctive color for an additional $10.00 charge.
